Overhead telephone distribution cables available in 2 or 3 pair versions. Both types incorporate 3 strain wires to support the weight of the cable. The strain wires are yellow PVC insulated, brass coated steel stranded wire. The overall jacket is black polyethylene with good abrasion and weather resistance.

The Box 530 has 1020 pairs and a lockable door with document pocket. The door is removable for ease of installation and reversible. There are cable entry knockouts on all sides and the top/bottom gland plates are fully removable. Ample jumper rings are provided for neat cable routing and there is provision for disconnect brackets below each BMF.

Best used with bevelled faceplate and 46 or 47mm deep back box to get the extra bend radius that is required for CAT6A installations. The Butterfly design is sometimes preferred over top/bottom jaw design as its slightly easier to wire up.

For CAT6A cables, these plugs are commonly used to make stranded style patch cords and not for use on larger outsized solid core cables which use another type of RJ45 plug with extended earth clip and can incorporate larger conductor sizes (also available in the KAUDEN range). For CAT5e or CAT6 you may be able to use on stranded or solid type in most cases. In any event these plugs can be used on solid and stranded inner conductors with a maximum diameter of 1.1mm.
